Yar M. Taraky
Yar Taraky is a Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada.

Yar Taraky has a masters degree in Engineering, a master degree
in arts and bachelor degree in international relations.
Yar Taraky is the author of several letters and recommendations to the Canadian
government including the Liberal and Conservative governments on Afghanistan
and the region.
Yar Taraky was a participant of the Ottawa, conference on Afghanistan organized
by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada in 2001.
Since the fall of Taliban Yar Taraky visited Afghanistan on different occasions
with the invitation of UNESCO in Kabul.
Yar Taraky brings expertise and knowledge on Afghan and regional issues. His
predictions of the sensitive political and economic process in Afghanistan
brought him a good name and credibility.
Yar Taraky has been interviewed by BBC, CBC and Voice of America and a number
of Afghan media on Afghanistan’s situation. He is one of the most visible
immigrant cultural professionals in Canada.
His previous experience in Afghanistan includes working at the Academy of Science
of Afghanistan and Kabul University and artists' Association of Afghanistan.
